A MORNING WALK KEEPS US HEALTHY.....

A morning walk showers blessings upon its undertakers.In the morning, Nature shows herself at her best.There is pleasent and cool atmosphere even in summers .Everything is calm and quite all around.The dew drops sparkling on the green grass and plants in parks and gardens soothe the eye with freshness. The trees standing on both sides of roads provide us with enough oxygen to energize our lungs. While taking a morning walk,we breath in unpolluted and wholesome air which helps us stay healthy and fit throughout the day.Brisk walking gives good exercise to our body and keeps us away from ailments.

RAINBOW

At the end of rain appears rainbow in the sky. It is a long and wide spectrum of seven colours forming a semi -circle going from one end of the earth to the other.Scientists say that when sunlight passes through a rarer medium to a denser medium, all the seven colours present in the white light form  a semi -circular rainbow.It is a popular belief that the appearance of a rainbow  after  the rain is an indication that from now onwards there will be no more rains.In hindi, it is called 'Indra Dhanush', who is supposed to be thegod of rain in hindu mythology.The rainbow not only appears to be miraculously beautiful but also wonderfully soothing to the eye. It also brings with it an assurance of relief from excessive rainfall.

MY MOTHERLAND

India is my country .I love it very much as it is my motherland ,i proud of being citizen of it. People from all over the world used to come here to study the indian culture and background.
India could not retain that glorious past and fell  on evil days, British looted and plundered it and made it a poor country .But it got its Independencein 1947 and it began to prosper again.The sacrifies of its great leaders brought about a radical change enabling it to prosper .The government of this country is elected by the people to work for their welfare. The citizens have equal rights irrespective of caste, creed and sex. There is freedom of speech, press and worship.  It is a country  inhabited by the poor .
Our country is alert in every sphere of life .The old system of education is also being changed. We belive in peace and live and let live.

GIRL CHILD

India is a country which is developing,
But there are things in which its lacking.
Even now in India, there are some places,
Where killing of girl child are common cases.
             I exactly don't know why,
         Today also new - born girls die.
      They kill them when they take birth,
      Sying to world , girls are only dirt.
          It is shameful and not right,
          Because living is every child's right.
I dont't know why they want a boy,
When a girl can give  them same joy.

ONE MORNING............

Woke early one morning
the earth lay cool and still,
when suddenly a tiny bird,
perched on my window sill,
it sang a song so lovely,
so carefree and so gay,
that slowly all my troubles,
began to slip away,
it sang of far off places,
of laughter and of fun,
it seemed his very song,
brought out the morning sun,
I pulled back the covers,
and crept slowly out of bed,
and gently shut the window,
and crushed his freaking head,
I’m not a morning person

WHEN I AM DEAD, MY DEAREST

When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.
I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget.
